There were just four games on the slate for the Blue Jays' minor league teams with the Fisher Cats prepped to play two games and the Dunedin Blue Jays set to play one but all three of those games were postponed, leaving the Lansing Lugnuts as the lone team in action.

Lansing Lugnuts 4, West Michigan Whitecaps (DET) 2

The low-A Lansing Lugnuts rallied for three runs in the bottom of the seventh to make a winner of Josh Winckowski as the Lugnuts beat the West Michigan Whitecaps 4-2.

Nick Podkul led off the seventh with a single and, with one out, Rafael Lantigua and Mc Gregory Contreras each hit a single to drive in a run. Tanner Kirwer (Sherwood Park, Alta.) bunted, scoring two more runs on an error by the first baseman before the inning was over. Podkul, Lantigua and Contreras ended up with two hits apiece with Podkul hitting a double and Lantigua hitting a triple. Kirwer had a single giving the Lugnuts seven hits for the game.

On the mound, Josh Winckowski had another strong game, dropping his ERA to 1.70 with seven innings of one-run ball. He allowed five hits and walk, striking out four. Cre Finfrock came in for the eighth, allowing a run on two hits and a walk with two strikeouts and Jackson Rees came in to cinch the win, striking out a pair and giving up a hit and a walk for his first save.
