To all of my great friends.

Yes, so heartbreaking at the end Saturday night ... deep breath ... Yes, also such a wonderful World Series for all of us to watch and enJOY.

Yes, we LOVE our Blue Jays. Yes, we were all so surprised and also so grateful to witness an AMAZING 2025 season from beginning to end that NO ONE ever anticipated seeing ... most of all me.

Yes, we are all so BLESSED to be right where we are and thankful for all that we have which includes being a significant part of this most loving team of unselfish and hard working players who will forever be remembered this season for always giving their best day after day after day playing together for each other ... so good.

Thank you so much ... God Bless all of you.

And now let me take the next month to personally say thank you right here to all of you for your support and loving thoughts that you sent my way.

I am so magnificently grateful to all of you.

Take special care

From 1981 until 2016, Howarth was a Blue Jays broadcaster. He split his rookie season between triple-A Salt Lake and Toronto with Tom Cheek and future Ford C. Frick award winner and Hall of Famer Early Wynn for CJCL. The next season, he replaced Wynn and joined Cheek as his full-time play-by-play partner. For the next 23 years, “Tom and Jerry” were the radio voices of the Blue Jays. They were together until 2004. Howarth then worked with Alan Ashby, Hall of Famer Jack Morris, Joe Siddall, Mike Wilner, Duane Ward and Kevin Barker. Howarth retired from broadcasting in February 2018.
