KITCHENER, Ont. - He’s been a relief pitcher, a speedy pinch running specialist, he can play infield, he can do it all.

The multi-faceted Jordan Carthy (Elmira, Ont.) has signed on with the Kitchener Panthers for a fourth IBL season, and brings all those tools with him to the ball diamond.

The 25-year-old only got into 12 games last season, and was utilized more on the basepath late in games.

Carthy is a civil engineering graduate at the University of Waterloo, where he spent four seasons with the OUA Warriors.

The Panthers begin its 105th IBL season at home to the Hamilton Cardinals on Thursday, May 16.
