The Okotoks Dawgs are pleased to announce their first three signings for the 2026 season.

The Dawgs have re-signed Connor Crowson (Tennessee Tech University), Ricardo Sanchez (Gonzaga University) and Nash Crowell (Tennessee Tech University).

Crowson (Okotoks, Alta.) returns for his fifth season after a standout campaign in 2025 in which he played 47 games and posted a remarkable .401 batting average. The versatile hitter collected 13 doubles, three triples and three home runs, while driving in 45 runs and scoring 51 times.

Sanchez brings offensive consistency and lockdown defence up the middle of the field. In 2025, Sanchez played in 37 games, hitting .331. He recorded seven doubles and one home run, drove in 24 runs and crossed the plate 38 times, while providing a steady presence as a table setter at the top of the lineup.

Crowell (Yarmouth, N.S.) adds significant power potential to the Dawgs’ offence. In 38 games, he hit .299 with six doubles, one triple and seven home runs. He also totaled 33 RBIs and scored 21 runs.
