Official Ontario Blue Jays News Release

The Ontario Blue Jays are excited to announce that LHP Nick Fraser (Burlington, ON) has committed to further his academic and baseball career at Wilfrid Laurier University (OUA - Waterloo, ON).

Fraser joined OBJ as a 15-year-old and was instrumental in bringing some of the most recent successes to the program on the mound. Nick is a Nelson High School graduate and has overcome great adversity in the past year to get back to the mound for the Golden Hawks this Fall.

He will look to jump right into the Hawks rotation and get back to where he left off in a Blue Jays uniform. Laurier has had great success in the past few seasons, most recently taking home the OUA Championship last year and finishing second at the Canadian University National Championship. Fraser will bolster a strong staff in hopes of leading them back to another OUA Championship.

Fraser will be one of many former Ontario Blue Jays who have made their way to the Golden Hawks during their careers.
