The Ontario Blue Jays are excited to announce that C Dylan Shepherd (Barrie, Ont.) has committed to further his academic and baseball career at Highland Community College (NJCAA DI - Highland, KS).

Shepherd joined OBJ as a 17U player a few years ago while attending St. Joseph Catholic in Barrie, Ont.

Shepherd joins a Scotties’ team that is looking to improve and push to the top of the competitive Kansas Jayhawk Conference. He will look to make an immediate impact on the Highland lineup and lead from behind the plate for the Scotties.

Shepherd will face off against two teammates in the coming years as Owen MacNeil and Alex Ellert both committed to schools in the KJCCC as well.

Shepherd becomes the first Ontario Blue Jays player to attend Highland Community College.
