Official Ottawa Titans News Release

The Ottawa Titans have agreed to terms on a contract extension with infielder Cristian Inoa for the upcoming 2026 Frontier League season.

Inoa, 26, returns to the club for his first full year in Ottawa and ninth professional campaign in 2026. Last summer, Inoa began the season with the Québec Capitales before joining the Titans at the transaction deadline in August. Playing in 74 games, Inoa slugged to a .299 average with 17 doubles, eight home runs, and drove in 48.

Once acquired by Ottawa, Inoa posted nine multi-hit efforts and four multi-RBI affairs. He also registered the only multi-home run game by any offensive contributor, accomplishing the feat in the opening game of a doubleheader at Trois-Rivières. Inoa also registered a season-high five RBIs in the season finale.

Originally signed by the Texas Rangers as an international free agent in 2016, Inoa spent six seasons in the minor leagues, reaching as high as triple-A. He earned Player of the Week honours twice – in 2021 with Down East of the Carolina League and again in 2022 with Hickory of the South Atlantic League. After spending most of his career at the Class-A level, Inoa joined the Atlantic League following his release during the 2023 season.

A product of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Inoa holds a lifetime .261 average with 112 doubles, 40 home runs, and 250 RBIs in 516 appearances.

The Titans will open the 2026 season on Friday, May 8, at 7:00 p.m., hosting the Québec Capitales at Ottawa Stadium.
