Congratulations to Nathan Pisio and Merek Yeager as they will be receiving the Brennan Luffman Memorial Scholarship.

Nathan Pisio is from Moose Jaw, Sask., and is currently attending Bethany Lutheran University in Mankato, Minnesota and playing college baseball.

Merek Yeager is from Muenster, Sask., and is currently enrolled and playing college baseball for Hutchinson Junior College in Kansas.

Both players played for Team Saskatchewan this past spring at the Best of the West Tournament.

This scholarship was established by Charlene Luffman and the Luffman family to keep the memory of their son Brennan Luffman vibrant in the baseball community in Saskatchewan. Brennan was loved by all of his teammates and this scholarship continues to have an impact on Saskatchewan baseball players every year.
