It was a record-setting Canadian Baseball League regular season as several statistical benchmarks were broken or tied, with most of them at the plate.

BATTING

Most at bats: Maikol Escotto, London, 217

Previous record: Jonah Weisner, Welland, 189 in 2025, 42 games; Ryan Lapensee, London, 189 in 2013, 42 games. Escotto’s 86 hits were two short of the record set by Waterloo’s Billy Flick in 1953 over 62 games.

Most runs: Daiku Abe, Welland, 62

Previous record: Abe tied the mark set by Pete Karpuk, Galt, in 1954, 60 games, and Roy Lefevre, Oshawa, in 1955, 50 games.

Most home runs: Yasiel Puig, Toronto, 24

Previous record: Sean Reilly, Toronto, 21 in 2013; 42 games.

Most RBIs: Ethan Mann, Welland, 71

Previous record: Harry Fisher, Brantford, 62 in 1954, 60 games.

Most strikeouts: Canice Ejoh, Barrie, 79

Previous record: Brody Black, Brantford, 57 in 2025, 42 games.

PITCHING

Appearances: Kevin Escorcia, Guelph, 29

Previous record: Bob Johnstone, Toronto, 26 in 1970, 30 games.
