ROSEMONT, Ill. – Canada's Women's National Team is set to compete at the WBSC Women's Baseball World Cup Group Stage this week from July 22 to July 26 at Rivets Stadium in Rockford, Ill.

Six nations will battle for a spot in the 2027 WBSC Women's Baseball World Cup Finals.

The Group Stage will feature Canada alongside Hong Kong, Korea, Mexico, Australia and the host nation: United States. The top three teams at the conclusion of round-robin play will advance to the WBSC Finals, scheduled to return to Rockford in July 2027.

Canada enters the tournament looking to qualify for the Women's Baseball World Cup Finals after sweeping Puerto Rico in a three-game series in May. Eighteen members of Canada's roster have previous Women's National Team experience, providing the club with a veteran core heading into the tournament to lead the new athletes on the team.
