Stars shine at the 19th Baseball Canada Awards Banquet and Fundraiser

On Saturday, January 14, and for the first time since 2020, Baseball Canada welcomed corporate partners, alumni and friends to the 19th Baseball Canada Awards Banquet and Fundraiser.

The evening featured National Team alum and former big leaguer Adam Loewen who became the 11th member inducted onto Baseball Canada’s Wall of Excellence presented by RBC Wealth Management while six other alums were presented with awards.

Thunder Bay awarded hosting rights for IX Women's Baseball World Cup group and final stage

Baseball Canada announced on Tuesday that the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) is awarding hosting rights to Thunder Bay, Ont., for the final stage of the IX Women's Baseball World Cup. The six-team tournament is scheduled for the Summer of 2024. Baseball Canada and the Thunder Bay International Baseball Association (TBIBA) will run the Local Organising Committee (LOC).
