The UBC Thunderbirds defeated the College of Idaho Yotes twice on Saturday, sweeping their doubleheader and taking a 3-0 lead in their four-game series to clinch the series victory.
The 'Birds overcame a two-run deficit to take the opener 6-3, before eventually blowing open a pitcher's duel in game two to win 8-0.
