UBC to host international tourney

The University of British Columbia Thunderbirds program will host a historic international tournament from Aug. 13 to 18. The four-team tournament, which will feature two Japanese University teams, will be hosted primarily at UBC’s Tourmaline West Stadium, but will also feature a premiere game at Scotiabank Field at Nat Bailey Stadium, home of the class-A Vancouver Canadians.

Okotoks Dawgs win Langley 18u Invitational

The Okotoks Dawgs 18U Black played some of their best ball of the year and knocked off the Victoria Eagles by a score of 6-2 to win the Langley Blaze Invitational. The championship marks the first time in Dawgs Academy history of winning the tournament, one the program has been attending for past five years.
