Roy Yamamura became the first individual Vancouver Asahi team member individual into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame on Tuesday night. Renowned for his leadership abilities, Yamamura was a base-stealer, batting champion and an MVP award-winning shortstop with the legendary Vancouver Asahi during his close to two decades with the team.
