Meet Kelly Sage, the "Canadian baseball card guy"

He is the “Canadian baseball card guy.”

At least that’s what many collectors and retired Canadian big leaguers call Kelly Sage.

They know that when it comes to finding a baseball card of a Canadian player that the Saskatoon resident is their man.

Sage owns close to 20,000 different Canadian cards – ranging from a 1909 T206 card of Brandon, Man., native Russ Ford to modern cards of Montreal-born Vladimir Guerrero Jr.

Thunder Bay awarded hosting rights for IX Women's Baseball World Cup group and final stage

Baseball Canada announced on Tuesday that the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) is awarding hosting rights to Thunder Bay, Ont., for the final stage of the IX Women's Baseball World Cup. The six-team tournament is scheduled for the Summer of 2024. Baseball Canada and the Thunder Bay International Baseball Association (TBIBA) will run the Local Organising Committee (LOC).
