After finishing second with a 6.57-second, 60 time at last year’s Canadian Futures Showcase, Ontario Blue Jays infielder Philip Cheong (Richmond Hill, Ont.) made sure that didn’t happen again. The fleet-footed outfielder clocked in at 6.344 seconds this year. That was nearly three tenths of a second better than fellow Ontario Blue Jay Benji Kautto (Toronto, Ont.) who registered the second-fastest time.

AHP Academy catcher Dominik Morgan (Sherwood Park, Alta.) hit the ball the hardest at the Canadian Futures Showcase at Rogers Centre on Tuesday.
