Scouting Report:

Garon shows intriguing tools across the board. He is a graceful three-sport athlete with a short righthanded stroke. At 6-foot-3, 190 pounds, Garon has projection in his athletic body. He came onto the national scene with a strong showing at the East Coast Pro Showcase, showing the ability to sting the ball with backspin to any part of the ballpark. Garon is an average runner with fringy arm strength. He doesn’t quite have the natural speed or actions of a center fielder, which limits him to a corner outfield spot. Still, Garon’s bat has some believers, and he could develop into a solid all-around talent.
