Rutgers first baseman Doucette impressed throughout his freshman year in 2024 when he slashed .321/.388/.556 and ranked second on his team with nine home runs and 49 RBIs despite missing 10 games due to injury. Doucette has a chance to make a considerable impact for the Scarlet Knights, who are searching for their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2007.
