Attention: All Coaches, general managers and scorekeepers across Canada

Attention: All Coaches, general managers and scorekeepers across Canada The Canadian Baseball Network is committed to the advancement and promotion of baseball from coast to coast. Everything we do is focused on this goal.

One of the best ways to advance this game is to provide exposure for the young Canadians. The more successful Canadian players are, the more popular the game becomes and the more popular the game is, we hope to see more youngsters choosing baseball.

At the Canadian Baseball Network we've spent the majority of 2013 testing and piloting new ideas to further this goal. One very successful feature we began piloting in 2013 was local updates. We reached out to a few coaches and asked them to send us game recaps, and player highlight posts to promote the successes of their teams and players.

The response was incredible and due to the pilots success we are now expanding the program across Canada.

If you coach amateur ball at the levels listed below, we encourage you to submit stories, photos and videos of your team or players highlights and accomplishments.

  • Academies
  • Elite baseball: BC Premier League, Ontario Premier League, Fergie Jenkins League
  • Teams competing south of the border
  • Teams at all ages in tournament play
  • Competitions which lead to provincial championships
  • Baseball Canada national championships

Every submitted post will be carried in a new section: similar to our Newsflash. Some special accomplishments may be featured on the top of the home page.

Articles submitted will be edited by our team before printing.

A large portion of CBN's audience are scouts and recruitment officials. This new program is meant to give you - the coaches, general managers and scorekeepers across Canada a chance to brag about your deal. As well it's a direct line to this audience to promote players who you coach.
