It was a week to remember for players from Quebec.

Of the top 13 Canadian hitters in the minors five are from Quebec.

The rundown:

_ INF Otto Lopez and OF Ben Pelletier shared the lead with six RBIs apiece. Lopez (Montreal, Que.) batted .381 (8-for-21) with a home run at class-A Vancouver, while Pelletier hit .304 (&-for-23) with one homer for the class-A Williamsport Crosscutters.

_ Leading all hitters in average was 3B Francisco Hernandez (Montreal, Que.) who batted .417 with five runs knocked in for the Rookie Class Dominican Summer League St. Louis Cardinals Red team.

_ 3B Vladimir Guerrero (Montreal, Que.) hit .389 (7-for-18) for the triple-A Buffalo Bisons, knocking in a pair of runs.

_ And OF Jonathan Lacroix (Montreal, Que.) had the seventh highest average, hitting .368 (7-for-19) with a homer and three RBIs for class-A  Quad Cities.
