Let’s take a look at how former Terriers playing college baseball fared over the past seven days.
Cote hits solo shot
Josh Cote (Midland, Ont.) hit a solo home run and walked as the University of Toledo thumped Youngstown State 12-1.
Green homers, too
Cote wasn’t the only Terriers’ alumni to hit a home run last week as Jason Green (Georgetown, Ont.) swatted a solo shot in Niagara University’s 11-1 Game 3 loss to Fairfield. He also had a hit and walked twice during a midweek game against Le Moyne.
Chee-Aloy has four hits
Outfielder Cameron Chee-Aloy (Toronto, Ont.) stroked four hits, walked once, drove in two and was hit by a pitch in four games for the University of Illinois.
O’Hearn hits and walks
Keegan O’Hearn (Oshawa, Ont.) had a hit and walked three times over four games for the University of Michigan.
Pinkney with a pair of knocks
Hugh Pinkney (Toronto, Ont.) had a hit in each of games 1 and 2 of Tulane University’s series against Memphis. The Green Wave won both to take the three-game set 2-1.
