Tabbed as North Dakota State’s Game 2 starter in The Summit League championship, Logan Knight (London, Ont.) didn’t disappoint.
Going up against the top-seeded Oral Roberts Golden Eagles, Knight went the distance, throwing a complete game shutout in a 4-0 victory.
He gave up three hits, issued three walks and struck out three to pick up his fourth win of the season.
The performance lowered Knight’s ERA to 4.68 over 77 innings and landed him on the All-Tournament team.
The Bison would drop Game 3 to Oral Roberts before defeating them for a second time in Game 4 to claim the conference title.
They’re now off to a regional for the first time since 2021.
