The roster for the 2026 Canadian Premier spring trip has been finalized.
Taking place from March 17 to March 24 in Phoenix, Ariz., this trip will see the Premier team play a series of eight games against Minor League Baseball (MILB) Spring Training teams and the Langley Blaze.
All games will be hosted at MLB Spring Training complexes, providing an exceptionally competitive environment that will come with a significant scouting presence.
In 2025, Ryan McDonagh (Milton, Ont.), Will Hynes (Mississauga, Ont.) and Tyson Moran (Wingham, Ont.) all parlayed their success against pro competition into becoming professionals themselves.
This year’s roster was brought together with the support of the MLB scouting community and will showcase the depth across the CPBL member programs including:
15 Nationally ranked Top 500 players in the ‘26 Class led by #71 ranked Robert Omidi (Mississauga, Ont.)
5 Nationally ranked Top 500 players in the ’27 Class led by #79 ranked Jalen Jacob (Maple, Ont.)
1 Nationally ranked Top 500 player in the ’28 Class in #10 ranked Mikey Batiste (Mississauga, Ont.)
14 players who have been a part of the Canadian Jr. National Team

Through the CPBL’s partnership with Perfect Game, PG scouts will cover this trip and provide social media content throughout the week.
“Between the daily competition, facilities and MLB personnel, our players will be given a first-class opportunity and experience during this trip. This is another great group that I suspect will be highly motivated by the success of last year’s trip,” said Jamie Romak, Canadian Premier GM.
