The Okotoks Dawgs struggled to find consistency at the plate in a 6-0 loss to the Lethbridge Bulls at Seaman Stadium on Wednesday.

Despite the offensive challenges, second baseman Aidan Rose (Calgary, Alta.) stood out, going 1-for-3. Jason Arriola and Ricardo Sanchez also added a hit each.

One of the positives for the Dawgs was their bullpen, particularly the work of Josh Mills (Leduc, Alta.) who delivered 1 1/3 innings of perfect relief.

Another standout performance came from reliever Trey Mackwood (Calgary, Alta.), who struck out a pair in two scoreless innings.

The Dawgs will now head out on the road to face the Sylvan Lake Gulls on Wednesday and Thursday.
