I was able to find 26 Canadians that are active in foreign leagues so far in 2025.
Here is a summary:
Notes:
(a) Gregory Cros has a " dual Canadian status " since his parents are both natives of Kelowna, BC
(b) Billy Germaine was born in Canada, and now also has a German Passport , since his marriage to a German citizen in 2023
(c) Ben Onyshko was active with Rieleros de Aguascalientes from April 18 to May 1. Moved to the Tigres de Quintana Roo on May 7. Released by the Roos on May 14, and signed as a free agent by Winnipeg Goldeyes IND American Association.
(d) Joe Kirby has taken over as manager of Austria's Hard Bulls in Division II. He had previously appeared in two games with the Division I team, but I assume he will now be full-time as manager at Division II.
