BOWLING GREEN, Ky.-- Cumberlands’ (Ky.) Ronald Almanzar and Campbellsville’s (Ky.) Brody Forno (Okotoks, Alta.) are the Mid-South Conference Players of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.
Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.
MSC Baseball Player of the Week
Ronald Almanzar - Cumberlands (Ky.) - Jr. - Bronx, N.Y.
Almanzar batted .467 (7-for-15) in four games for No. 6 Cumberlands’ (Ky.) last week.
Almazar tallied four home runs, one double, and seven RBIs, while also posting a 1.333 slugging percentage and a .600 on-base percentage.
Almanzar's best game was a 4-for-4 performance with two home runs and three RBIs against Indiana Tech University.
Almanzar earns his first weekly conference honors of the season.

Brody Forno-Campbellsville (Ky.)-Sr., Calgary, Alta.
Forno tossed a seven-inning complete-game shutout to earn his first win of the season
Forno struck out 13 Fisher (Maine) batters in his dominant performance on Saturday.
He allowed one hit and two walks in his seven innings of work in his win against Fisher College.
Forno earns his first weekly conference honours of the season.
