The Toronto Blue Jays' minor league affiliates were 4-3 in seven games with the Dunedin Blue Jays getting double header action.

Buffalo Bisons 3, Columbus Clippers (CLE) 4

The Buffalo Bisons' bullpen wasted a strong start from Anthony Kay as they allowed three runs in the bottom of the eighth to give the Columbus Clippers a 4-3 win.

Kay went six strong innings, fighting through five walks but allowed just one hit and one unearned run, striking out eight. Matt Dermody allowed a hit and struck out one but Bryan Baker was tagged for three runs on two hits (including a home run) and two walks in 1/3 of an inning. Danny Young finished up, striking out the only two batters he faced.

Jonathan Davis hit his 10th home run of the season, going 2/4 with two RBI and a run while Anthony Alford was 1/4 with a double. Rowdy Tellez also hit a double, going 1/4 with a run while Socrates Brito (1/4, RBI), Michael De La Cruz (1/3), Santiago Espinal (1/3, R) and Roemon Fields (1/2, Sac bunt) each had a hit.

Roster Notes: Jason Adam was optioned to Buffalo and Roemon Fields was activated off the IL. Neil Ramirez had his contract selected by the Blue Jays.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 8, Erie SeaWolves (DET) 5

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats made Casey Mize, one of the top pitching prospects in the game, look average as they thumped him and the Erie SeaWolves, winning 8-5.

Brock Lundquist led the charge, going 3/4 with a double, a home run, four RBI, two runs and a sac fly. Riley Adams also hit a home run, going 2/5 with two RBI and two runs while Nash Knight was 2/4 with a double, an rBI and a run. Christian Williams was 2/4 with a double and Forrest Wall was 2/4 with a run. Joshua Palacios (1/4, BB, R), Vinny Capra (1/4, BB, R, SB) and Logan Warmoth (1/3, BB, RBI, SF) each had a single.

Justin Dillon allowed four runs on six hits and two walks, hitting two batters in four innings, striking out three before Brad Wilson came on to give up a run on two hits with three walks in two innings, striking out two. Mike Ellenbest allowed three hits but didn't give up a run in two innings and Dany Jimenez got the save, striking out the side in the ninth.

Dunedin Blue Jays 3, Bradenton Marauders (PIT) 2

In the first game of their double header, Josh Winckowski provided some strong pitching as the Dunedin Blue Jays beat the Bradenton Marauders 3-2.

Winckowski allowed just two unearned runs on three hits and two walks, striking out five and needing 80 pitches to get through five innings for the Blue Jays, picking up the win. Sean Rackoski allowed a walk and struck out one in the final two innings to earn his first save for Dunedin.

The Blue Jays had six hits including an RBI double by Samad Taylor who was 1/3, an RBI double by Alejandro Kirk who was 1/3 and was hit by a pitch and singles from Chavez Young (1/4), Reggie Pruitt (1/3, R, SB), Demi Orimoloye (1/4, R) and Kevin Vicuna (1/2, R, CS).

Dunedin Blue Jays 7, Bradenton Marauders (PIT) 5

In Game 2 of the doubleheader, the Blue Jays got three runs in the top of the seventh to take the lead (after surrendering it in the bottom of the sixth) to beat the Bradenton Marauders 7-5.

Demi Orimoloye (Orleans, Ont.) hit a third-inning home run, going 1/3 with a sac fly and three RBI while Ryan Noda was 2/4 with a double, an RBI, a stolen base and two runs. Nick Podkul was 2/3 with a double, an RBI and a run while Kevin Vicuna was 1/3 with an RBI and a run. Christopher Bec walked and scored and Chavez Young was 1/3 with a triple, a walk, an RBI and a run.

Graham Spraker went 5 1/3 innings, allowing five runs on six hits (including a home run) and struck out four before Kyle Weatherly came on to finish the sixth, retiring both batters he faced. Jackson Rees allowed two hits in the seventh but got out of the inning unscathed for the save.

Lansing Lugnuts 10, Dayton Dragons (CIN) 6

The Lansing Lugnuts picked up another win against the Dayton Dragons, beating them 10-6 on Sunday.

Yorman Rodriguez continues to hit no matter what team he's on as he went 3/5 with a double, a triple, five RBI and two runs but he was picked off and caught stealing. Griffin Conine is also on a tear, going 2/4 with a double, a home run, three RBI and two runs. Otto Lopez (Montreal, Que.) was 2/4 with a walk, a stolen base and two runs while Rafael Lantigua was 2/5 with his first home run of the year, driving in two. Hunter Steinmetz was 1/3 with two walks and two runs while Ryan Gold was 1/4 with a double and D.J. Neal was 1/4 with a run.

Troy Miller started, going five innings and giving up three runs on six hits with a walk and four strikeouts before turning it over to Cobi Johnson who walked five in three innings, allowing a run on a hit with two strikeouts. Justin Watts gave up two runs on two hits (including a home run) with a walk and a strikeout in the ninth.

Vancouver Canadians 2, Eugene Emeralds (CHC) 3

The Vancouver Canadians were beaten in a walk-off victory by the Eugene Emeralds as they won 3-2.

Gabriel Ponce had a strong start, tossing four innings of scoreless ball, allowing just two hits and a walk with five strikeouts before Jared DiCesare allowed two runs (one earned) on two hits with three strikeouts in four innings. Mike Pascoe only got one out in the ninth, allowing a run on two hits.

Will Robertson was 2/3 with a walk, a stolen base and a run while Luis De Los Santos was 2/4 with a double. Tanner Morris was 1/3 with a walk and a double while Philip Clarke and Jesus Lopez were each 1/4 with Lopez scoring a run and Clarke stealing a base.

Bluefield Blue Jays 5, Bristol Pirates (PIT) 14

The Bluefield Blue Jays lost another game, allowing 14 runs with four errors in a 14-5 loss to the Bristol Pirates.

Justin Ammons had two more hits, going 2/5 with an RBI and a run, adding an outfield assist while Spencer Horwitz was 2/5 with an RBI and a run. Davis Schneider had another two hits, going 2/5 with a run and Ryan Sloniger was 2/3 with a walk, a double, an RBI and a run. Scotty Bradley was 1/3 with a walk and a run while Miguel Hiraldo was 1/4 with a double, a sac fly and an RBI but he also made two errors. Leonardo Jimenez was 1/4 with a walk.

Naswell Paulino allowed eight runs (six earned) on eight hits (including a home run) and a walk with three strikeouts in 3 2/3 innings. Lazaro Estrada gave up two more runs (one earned) on four hits and a walk with two strikeouts over 3 1/3 innings and Kyle Huckaby gave up four more runs on five hits (including a home run) in one inning.
