Kievman's two homers lead Dawgs to win

The Okotoks Dawgs delivered a complete performance at Seaman Stadium, earning a 6-3 victory over the Brooks Bombers in front of 5,711 fans during the festive Christmas in July celebration.

Jordan Kievman belted two home runs to pace the Dawgs’ offence.

Emmet Stacher was also a key contributor offensively, going 2-for-2 with a double, two walks, a stolen base and two runs.

Brody Forno (Okotoks, Alta.) gave the Dawgs a solid start, allowing just one run on three hits while striking out four over four innings.

Will Labontè (Montreal, Que.), Wyatt Sadlier (Calgary, Alta.), and Turner Zdunich (High River, Alta.) each tossed a scoreless inning in relief to keep the Bombers' offence in check.

The Dawgs will now hit the road for a pair of matchups against the Bombers in Brooks on Saturday, July 25 and Sunday, July 26 before returning to Seaman Stadium to host the Lethbridge Bulls on Wednesday.
