Yet, while Canadian Premier won the home run contest, they fell 6-4 to the Elite Squad Scout in the second day of the two-day WWBA round robin tournament. It was a tune up to the start of the 28th annual Perfect Game World Wood Bat championship at Roger Dean Stadium and surrounding diamonds.

Walker (Ajax, Ont.) hit a solo shot in the first and Lehouillier (Levis, Que.) hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth.

Mikey Batiste (Mississauga, Ont.) and Lehouillier had two hits apiece.

LHP Johann Sternberg (Toronto, Ont.) pitched three innings, allowing one unearned run. He permitted one hit and struck out one in his 38-pitch outing (28 strikes).
