Indigo Diaz (North Vancouver, BC) pitched at the 84th annual National Baseball Congress (NBC) World Series in Wichita, Kan. earlier this month. He was one of the 26 players selected to the NJCAA National team coached by Tyler coach Doug Wren. Diaz pitched for the Langley Blaze and last spring for the Iowa Western Reivers. The 6-foot-5, 250 pounder is now headed to the Michigan State Spartans.
