As the Toronto Blue Jays' class-A Short Season Vancouver Canadians opened their season on Thursday night, playing professional baseball in another city in Canada may have provided some good karma as the Blue Jays' minor league affiliates won all eight of their games including sweeps of doubleheaders by the New Hampshire Fisher Cats and Lansing Lugnuts. The big story was Bo Bichette who is now hitting .400 after going 7/8 in the Lugnuts' two games last night. Jay Blue has the rundown.

Alexis on the road: Harris hones repertoire with Fisher Cats

2015 first-round pick Jon Harris has struggled somewhat to start his first season in double-A with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, but the 23-year-old righty is working on incorporating his sinker and two-seam fastball more through his outings. Harris believes that when he finds an increased level of comfortability in mixing both of these pitches, the results will follow.  Canadian Baseball Network lead writer Alexis Brudnicki recently caught up with Harris in Manchester, New Hampshire.
