ICYMI: Inaugural T12 changed Case's career

With the start of Tournament 12 just six days away, we wanted to revive this excellent article by Canadian Baseball Network alum and now MLB.com reporter Alexis Brudnicki about Saint John, N.B., native Andrew Case who was signed by the Toronto Blue Jays after starring in the inaugural T12 event. Case made it high as triple-A in parts of six seasons in the Blue Jays organization, before retiring in April. Case will return to the event this year as a coach for Team Black.

Canadian Baseball History Conference set for November to include hall tour

The fourth annual Canadian Baseball History Conference will be held on November 9th and 10th at Museum London in London, Ont. The event, which brings together baseball fans and researchers from across the country, is once again being organized by Andrew North, who is a long-time Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame volunteer and the co-founder of the Centre for Canadian Baseball Research. This year’s conference will also include a bus trip to the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in St. Marys, Ont., where attendees will have a chance to visit the newly expanded facility.
