Report: Bronfman's Montreal group to assume minority share in Rays

There has been a major movement in Montreal’s quest for the return of Major League Baseball to the city. According to veteran Montreal French language reporter Rejéan Tremblay, prospective Montreal owner Stephen Bronfman told him his group of investors will assume partial ownership of the Tampa Bay Rays with a few months. Tanner Guindon returns to IBL's Hamilton Cardinals

Left-handed pitcher Tanner Guindon (Brantford, Ont.) is returning for his seventh IBL season, and his fourth with the Hamilton Cardinals. Last season saw Guindon return to Hamilton after three seasons in Brantford and he pitched in 21 games with a 1-3 record with an ERA of 2.91 and picked up a save.

Canadian Grieve selected to umpire at the Olympics
