Game On

By Stubby Clapp Well, after a slow start to the exhibition games, only winning one of six, the energy level was finally back to where it needed to be today.

The first game against China we come out on top 10-0 in eight innings due a mercy rule in international play.

The guys came out with some fire in there hearts today.

There is no holding any punches now, every game counts and every out is an important one.

Scott Thorman had a great day starting the run scoring with a three-run home run and the runs continued from there. Mike Saunders finished the scoring with a solo home run to cap it off 10-0 in the top of the eighth.

Chris Begg threw great leaving the China team scoreless before he handed the ball off to TJ Burton, and then to Rheal Cormier to shut the door. All in all, it was a good solid day at the park today.

Tomorrow, we are against Cuba, our nemesis in International play.

There is nothing better then playing when the game is on the line with every pitch!
